I never made a post about that so I’m not sure why you’re asking. I mean I mentioned how creepy #boobsforbernie is because of the fact women are LITERALLY taking pictures of their boobs for a 74 year old man.
But as for breast feeding in public - if it has to be done, it has to be done. All I know is as a woman, if I had a baby, for the sake of my own modesty, I would go to a restroom to breastfeed. Not because it’s such a “sexual act” to breastfeed, just I don’t personally want a bunch of people to see my boob(s). Even if there is a baby connected to it.
Sure it’s “their problem” if they want to stare, but I mean that’s just life and that’s going to happen. People are GOING to look.
It’s not like there’s NOTHING a woman can do in order to protect her modesty during breastfeeding. There are bathrooms, there are ponchos, there are specific clothes that are actually made in assisting breastfeeding in pubic. There are also bottles if the baby is ready for it.
People who don’t care about modesty will argue there’s no shame in it, but AS A WOMAN, I would find shame in whipping out a boob in front of a bunch of people… and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
Some women don’t care about that, and well, that’s their life. It’s not really affecting me or anyone else.
